We are traveling from Paris to Berlin on an overnight train. We are booked on the City Night Line – a 12 hour train ride leaving Paris at 8 pm and arriving 8 am in Berlin. This should be an experience to remember — hopefully, fondly.
Here’s an idea of what our room (car) will look like.
A restaurant on-board!
Berlin is going to be a great stop for us. Charlie’s mom, Helga was born in Berlin and lived in the Schoeneberg area for 18 years before moving to the US. We are staying in an apartment in Prenzlauer Berg. Here’s a link to it:
The accommodation’s location in the district of Prenzlauer Berg offers everything guests might need day and night – from supermarkets, local shops, and all kinds of bars, clubs and restaurants. The easiest way to visit Berlin is by public transport – and just two minutes from the flat is the metro stop Eberswalder Strasse (on line U2) providing quick and easy access to all the most interesting parts of the city including Potsdamer Platz, East Side Gallery and the television tower in Alexanderplatz.
